Veritas Consultancy is a private and corporate security and investigations company, providing security services to a wide range of clients, including commercial and residential properties, industrial sites, and special events.
Our role was to develop a security platform with mobile applications for their guards to use in the field, replacing the paper-based system guards were using to record their activities and report security incidents. The platform had to store pictures, audio, video, locations, and other data, allow real-time updates of activities and events, and be accessible from smartphones, tablets, and desktop computers.

The main challenge was to create a secure and reliable platform that could handle large amounts of data and real-time updates. Security was a major concern, as the platform would be handling sensitive data such as personal information and security incidents.

We were responsible for designing, developing, and deploying the security platform and providing ongoing maintenance and support. Generic Soft’s team worked closely with the security firm to understand their specific needs and requirements.
Generic Soft created the architecture and initial structure for both the back-end and front-end services, using best practices for scalability and maintainability. This included designing the database schema and using Flyway migrations for automated updates.
