The data controller for this website is Generic Soft Ltd, registered in Bulgaria under UIC (EIK) 206318136, with registered address: Bulgaria, Sofia 1715, Mladost District, Mladost 4 Residential Complex, Block 488, Entrance 2, Floor 7, Apartment 89 (“Generic Soft”, “we”, “us”).

We process personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Bulgarian Personal Data Protection Act. For any privacy question, write to office@genericsoft.eu.

We only collect personal data that you give us through the forms on this website, plus the limited technical data needed to load the site.

Online meeting booking

If you choose to book an online meeting, our Google Calendar booking page opens inside the window. The name, email and any notes you enter there are processed by Google and added to our calendar, and Google Meet video call details are added to the invitation automatically.

Newsletter subscription

When you press “Subscribe” in the footer we record your email address, the date and time you subscribed, the page you subscribed from and your browser’s language setting.

Technical data

To display this website your browser connects to third-party services that deliver our fonts, icons, script libraries, technology logos, some images and, on some pages, a Clutch reviews widget (see section 06). These services receive your IP address and basic browser information as part of the normal request. We do not use this data to identify you.

Job applications

Our Careers page links to LinkedIn, Jobs.bg and Dev.bg. Applications sent there are handled under those platforms’ own privacy policies. If you send us a CV directly, we use it only to assess your application.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

04 Where your data is stored

Newsletter sign-ups and “Let’s talk” requests are saved as rows in a private Google Sheet inside Generic Soft’s Google Workspace account (in separate “Subscribers” and “Leads” tabs). Each “Let’s talk” request is also sent by email to the Generic Soft team members who handle new enquiries. Online meetings you book are stored in our Google Calendar.

05 How long we keep it

Data Retention “Let’s talk” requests 24 months after our last contact with you, including the notification emails. If you become a client, the data moves to our client records and the contract terms apply. Meeting bookings Kept in our calendar as a record of the meeting and deleted together with the related request data. Newsletter email Until you unsubscribe. We delete it within 30 days of your request. Technical data Not stored by us. Third-party providers keep request logs for short periods under their own policies.

After these periods the corresponding rows, emails and calendar entries are deleted.

  • Access is protected with individual Google Workspace accounts.
  • Google acts as our data processor under the Google Workspace Data Processing Amendment.
  • Google may process data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
